San Diego Union-Tribune - Chargers running back LaDainian Tomlinson believes that the team can salvage their season by using their rushing attack more often.

"I don't want to say you can't be successful not running the ball, but it's really not realistic. Most good teams run the football," Tomlinson said.

Tomlinson's 123 carries are his fewest through seven games in his eight-year career.

"There comes a time ... you can't abandon it," guard Mike Goff said. "I don't think one-sided offense can win in this league."

Tomlinson claims that he hasn't been able to establish a rhythm this season.

"I just feel like at times we can do better in getting more opportunities in getting it going a little better," Tomlinson said. "It's hard to run when you don't have a chance to get in a rhythm." [READ]
