Report: Rams Deal With Haslett Not In Accordance With NFL Rules

CBS Sportsline - The NFL has notified the Rams that their contract with interim coach Jim Haslett has been voided, according to a published report.

The team was planning to hire Haslett as their full-time coach if he won six games this season, but CBSSportsline.com, citing league sources, reported Saturday that the NFL has informed the team that the deal is not in accordance with the “Rooney Rule," which is aimed at getting more minorities interviewed for jobs.
