Sources: Witten Intends To Play Despite Rib Injury

espn.com - Cowboys' tight end Jason Witten has learned that medical tests performed Monday revealed he suffered a fractured rib, according to team sources.

But the team's leading receiver refuses to rule himself out of Sunday's showdown against the Giants and has informed the coaching staff he will try to play through the injury, according to a report by ESPN.com on Tuesday. [READ]
