Belichick: Peyton Isn't Playing Hurt

Boston Herald - Patriots' coach Bill Belichick doesn't believe that Colts' quarterback Peyton Manning is playing hurt this season.

"If I’m not mistaken, he hasn’t shown up on the injury report all year except maybe one day at the beginning of the season," Belichick said. "I am not really sure what injuries you’re talking about, but he hasn’t been listed on the injury report all year."

Manning underwent two procedures on his knee during the summer to remove an infected bursa sac and did not take a single snap until the team's season opener in early September.

"He looks pretty good to me," Belichick said. "I don’t think he’s injured. He hasn’t been on the injury report, so I’m assuming he’s not hurt." [READ]
