San Francisco Chronicle - 49ers' running back Frank Gore claims that he is ready to face the Rams on Sunday despite suffering a concussion in Monday night's game against the Cardinals.

"I'll be all right," said Gore. "I think I jammed it (his neck). I was out of it for a while. I'll be fine."

Coach Mike Singletary claims that Gore doesn't have a concussion.

"Frank Gore is a football player. He does not know what a concussion is. He has no idea," Singletary said. "In all seriousness, Frank has a neck strain. It may feel like a concussion. I talked to Fergie (head athletic trainer Jeff Ferguson), who is one of the finest trainers in the country. He (Gore) does not have a concussion. He's good to go." [READ]
