Detroit's Smith: 'We Have Slim Playoff Hopes'

MLive.com - Lions' rookie running back Kevin Smith still believes that the team, 0-10, has a chance to make the playoffs.

"There's still a good chance," Smith said. "I'm going to be real now -- we're 0-10 and the playoffs are probably slim to nothing. I'm going to keep it at slim, though. I'll leave slim in there. You learn from this."

Detroit is five games out of first place in the NFC North with Green Bay, Chicago, and Minnesota all tied at 5-5 through Week 11.

Mathematically, a loss this weekend, combined with a win by any of their division rivals, would eliminate them from playoff contention. [READ]
