Marshall Ready To Test Asomugha

Rocky Mountain News - Nnamdi Asomugha is widely believed to be the best cover cornerback in the entire NFL and Broncos' head coach Mike Shanahan considers Asomugha to be the most underrated player he has ever seen in his career.

Brandon Marshall was suspended for the Broncos' opener against the Raiders, so this will be his first chance to line up against the Oakland corner.

"He's only been thrown at once per game. That's his average," Marshall said. "And we threw on his side probably three times in the first game.

"He does a good job of shutting down one side of the field. But as a receiver, you've got to love this type of challenge. This is where you can say, 'I'm good,' when you do it against a good corner, a great corner. So I'm excited." [READ]
