Texas Moves Up To No. 2 In BCS Rankings

Bloomberg - Texas moved up to No. 2 in college football’s Bowl Championship Series standings while Oklahoma climbed two spots to third after Saturday’s rout of formerly second-ranked Texas Tech.

Alabama, which didn’t play, remained No. 1.

The teams that are first and second in the final BCS standings on Dec. 7 will play in the national championship game.

The University of Florida remains fourth in the BCS rankings after beating the Citadel 70-19 to improve to 10-1, while Southern California (9-1), which was idle, moved up a spot to fifth. [READ]
