David Garrard apparently will get another shot to show Jacksonville Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio what he can do.

Jack Del Rio, who admitted Sunday that he considered yanking Byron Leftwich in the 27-7 loss to Houston, said Monday that he expects Leftwich to start the next game in Philadelphia on Sunday.

With approximately two years left on an incentive-laden contract, Fred Taylor wants to restructure.

Jaguars quarterback Byron Leftwich missed practice Oct 20 and was scheduled to have tests on his sore left ankle, the same one that caused him to miss five games last season.

Already missing their best pass rusher, the Jacksonville Jaguars will be without their best tackler for the rest of the season.
